Our team member Tiago Henriques da Silva (3B’s – UMINHO) represented project SponGES at the “Blue Economy Research & Industry Dialogue Workshop“, organised by the Blue Tech Cluster Alliance back to back with the Oceanology International conference 2018 (in London). Top-level discussions engaging respresentatives of the industry, the academia and governmental organisations revolved around Ocean Mapping, Marine Biotechnology, and Big Data, as seen through the lenses of key overarching themes such as research, cooperation, investment, acces and sustainability.
